“The Ethics of Ethnography," wrote by Leon Neyfakh, talk about Alice Goffman’s book, “On the Run: fugitive life in an American city”. Alice Goffman has been heavily criticized about her book for inaccuracies and inconsistent in her stories. Author of article also said that, Alice inaccuracy in her book might have to do with her field of work because she had to hide the identity of people she did research on for their safety. So it's very hard to fact-check her work.

It is important because it point out the problem Ethnographer facing to prove the authenticity of their work. As per their field they have to kept identity of people they work with anonymity. And also there is a chance they might use their position for their own agenda.
