The article, Understanding “New Power”, by Jeremy Heimans and Henry Timms is about power shifting from one player to another. As power shift, it also changes the economic values, tradition, and way people think. Article explain that how old power which mostly made and held by few men is being replace by new power which is made and held by many.
Shifting of power is important because old power is build on cultural and traditional values which are outdated for current time. New power don’t rely on old cultural values but make new. It also changing the people thinks and feels.
As we learned in class that culture and power is related and also power can change the way people thinks, and this said that shifting of power from old to new also change the people thinks and create new culture.
