The article,“Kinship,” written by Rodney Collins which perfectly define the Anthropology Kinship. Same-sex marriage, polygamous marriage, child adoption, and medicalize reproduction (surrogate) all fall in Kinship anthropology. Article summarize the five aspect of kinship that are taking major part in political in many countries.

Marriage equality and medicalize reproduction has now become the major talking points. Many countries have already legalized same-sex marriage, show increase in child adoption, and medicalized reproduction.

In class we learn that kingship is all about blood relationship, and article categorized same-sex marriage and adoption also as kinship.
