This short video is about anthropologist doing fieldwork and it featured three members of MIT's Anthropology Department, Stefan Helmreich, Erica James, and Heather Paxson working. Anthropology mostly observe people and their culture, they also participate on people’s everyday work, and also do lab work.
Anthropologist fieldwork is important because the document the culture and help other understand them. When Anthropologist do their fieldwork, they are living, or looking into another culture from new perspective.
In class we learned that Anthropology study about everything human do, and in video researcher work along with people to better understand their daily life. They also ask lots of question and also observe them.
